Brand Consulting

Taylor Ward Branding is a brand consulting business. With expertise in all things marketing, project management, and brand strategy specifically in the sports, entertainment, and media industries. I leverage my expertise to develop strategic alliances that drive client growth and innovation by building more effective media for brands.

Project Management

I have been the lead project manager for the Positive Disruptors research team since February 2023. The project includes research on disruption for a forthcoming business leadership book in partnership with award-winning author James Patterson. In this role, I oversee a total of 10 people across 2 teams one is a writing team and one is our model team which consists of data scientists and coders to create an interactive cloud model to supplement the book. 

 

Daily tasks that I engage in include leading and organizing team meetings and project materials, establishing communication strategies between our team and authors, collaborating on innovative ideas and strategies, and conducting and synthesizing over 100+ hours of interviews with Fortune 500 senior executives while maintaining quality relationships with interviewees and ensuring adherence to project timelines and goals. I am also building out a comprehensive marketing launch plan in preparation for our spring 2025 publishing date. This includes a media tour, building a website, and an interactive app

Worked as a Summer Marketing Brand Analyst for G7 Entertainment Marketing in Nashville. From this position, I obtained a strong comprehensive knowledge of the digital media and digital marketing space. Daily tasks include executing brand partnerships with Fortune 500 clients such as White Claw, Liquid Death, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Therabody, TwoChicks Cocktails, and emerging brand Casa Azules Tequila Seltzers. This included email marketing, social media strategy, website development, and live event activations. In addition, I partnered with entertainment industry talent curating brand content, developing digital marketing strategies, collaborating with utility NFTs, brand & influencer marketing, and overseeing sampling event activations at Festivals such as LalaPalooza and Bonaroo.

Lead Social Media Manager for a Division 1 SEC Swim Team. Daily tasks included producing daily engaging content on social media accounts. Grew engagement by 300% within the first 4 months and doubled engagement by 600% after 12 months.

Created social media content and strategy for a women-owned canned cocktail brand called Two Chicks Cocktails. Daily tasks included producing daily engaging content, establishing influencer partnerships, and effectively communicating with graphic designers, the content team, and the client. I sat in the digital strategies department during this role.

Successfully led 15+ Master's level final deliverables in the Master's of Marketing program at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management. Participated in Brand Week where I led and developed strategic marketing plans for companies such as Graduate Hotels, Central BBQ & Learfield sports properties. Generated managerial insights that were implemented into active advertising campaigns. My team received second place overall. â€‹

Selected for the 2023 Deloitte Student-Athlete Leadership Experience program that supports student-athletes to create post-athletic career success. Participated in various workshops and networking events connecting with leaders at Deloitte and other student-athletes.

Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and sat on the SEC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. During my time in this role, I successfully created a peer mentorship program where upperclassmen mentored underclassman athletes. Additionally, I successfully lobbied for athlete priority registration.
